Troubleshooting a Custom PC

Troubleshooting a Custom PC post thumbnail

For this customer, we had to troubleshoot a custom PC to see why it was crashing. We reloaded the OS and fixed the Motherboard placement so that the components would fit right. For some reason, the motherboard had shifted in this Custom PC. So our techs fixed that and made sure that all the screws were in place. We also had to rerun some of the wires to make better use of the wire management built into the case.

As you can see from the picture there several RGB fans all with their own connector. So we thought it best to make sure they were connected together for better management. The Operating system was having issues so since the customer didn’t have any important data that was not backed up. We completely wiped the hard drive and reinstalled the whole thing from scratch. We believe that once you start seeing so many errors in the OS and have determined it is not hardware related. The best thing to do is to start over. This gives you a fresh start and cleans out any unplanned issues you might be having.
