Data Recovery

Did your computer recently crash and did you lose some of your favorite family pictures or those import tax documents? Have you accidentally deleted your files? Has your hard drive stopped showing up on your computer? All is not lost. We have found that only a low number of storage devices have suffered from physical damage. So very few need extensive data recovery.

What you can try before you bring your device to us:

  • The first place to check is, of course, the Recycle Bin.
  • The second thing to check is to make sure you have “hidden files” enabled on your computer.
    • You can find those settings at the top bar of your File Explorer (click on “View” at the very top, then tick “hidden items”). If you can still not find them. Give us a call and we can tell you over the phone. We will do our best to recover deleted files for you over the phone. Or just bring the device to us.

Depending on what has happened to your storage device we can let you know if you just need a basic recovery service or if you need something more. You will be happy to know if we do not or cannot recover any data we will not charge you. We can provide data recovery service on almost any storage device like (external hard drives), memory cards, USB and SD flash drives, NAS, and servers.

You can drop off your device or we can come to your location and pick up the device. We will take it back to our office where our team will get straight to work on seeing how and if we can recover your lost files. Be it pictures from your last family reunion to important data for your company.

Always have a backup plan.

Our team can also give you some tips and recommendations on how you can avoid this situation from ever happening again. Either for your home PC or your work machines. Our team can set you up with a cloud backup system or a local backup. It all depends on what your needs and requirements are. Take a look at our backup services here.
